Nonprofit communications consultant/writer, currently living with brain cancer
Naomi Sichler, 33, is a fund-development and communications consultant for nonprofit organizations. Since her diagnosis in 2010 with an inoperable oligodendroglioma — a rare and slow-growing form of brain cancer — she has undergone a series of treatments, including radiation and multiple courses of chemotherapy. In April 2016, she was given a terminal diagnosis. She continues to write about her experiences with cancer and the healthcare system from her home in Los Angeles, California, where she lives with her husband, Mike.
