Documentary Filmmaker and Ph.D. Candidate in Anthropology at NYU
Narges Bajoghli is a PhD student in Anthropology at New York University, and a documentary filmmaker. As the recipient of the Susan Knafel Fellowship, Narges researched at the University of Tehran's Faculty of Law and Political Science, and developed projects focusing on the victims of chemical weapons during the Iran-Iraq War. Her film, The Skin That Burns, chronicles the lives of survivors of chemical warfare in Iran.
