Technical Advisor, Freedom From Hunger

Nicki Fluehr-Lobban, has over 7 years professional experience in development and technical assistance, particularly in Central/West Africa and Southeast Asia. She joined Freedom from Hunger in September 2009 as Technical Advisor, focusing primarily on savings-led microfinance and more recently on e-Learning and m-Learning initiatives.

Before joining Freedom from Hunger, Nicki worked with the African Economic Research Consortium at the International Monetary Fund’s IMF Institute in Washington, DC. From 2003-2005, she served as a Peace Corps volunteer in the south of Cameroon.

Nicki holds an M.S. from New York University’s Center for Global Affairs in International Economics and Development and a B.A. from the University of Denver in International Affairs.
