Member of the European Parliament, Spain; Vice Presidednt, Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee

Pablo Zalba is a Spanish Member of the European Parliament, vice-president of the Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee and substitute member of the International Trade Committee. He is also member of the Delegation for relations with the People's Republic of China and substitute member of the Delegation for Relations between the European Union and Chile.

Zalba is also Vice-President of the steering committee of the Parliamentary Conference on the World Trade Organization and coordinator of the EPP Group Young Members Network. He is Vice-President of SME Europe and Vice-President of the Youth and Friends of Free Cuba Intergroups.

Before becoming member of the European Parliament, Zalba worked as director sales and business development of SIC Lázaro, as head of exports in Comansa and as head of Business Development and Marketing at the Construction unit of Arcelor Mittal in Spain.

Zalba holds a bachelor degree in business management from the University of Navarra and a MBA from the London Business School.
