Patrick O'Brien

Patrick O’Brien is CEO and co-founder of Executor.org, the world’s leading online resource for executors.

O’Brien came up with the idea for Executor.org when he lost each of his parents a few years ago. He thought they had made all the necessary arrangements for their modest estate. As the executor of their will, however, he soon found out how overwhelming the process of settling an estate was – and how much work there was still to do. Frustrated, he created Executor.org, an innovative online tool that leverages technology to help comprehensively manage the executor process. The tool creates a custom plan for executors, including an interactive executor checklist and data vault for information storage.

O’Brien has a track record of business success in a range of industries. Prior to launching Executor.org, O’Brien formerly served as a division president at Monster Worldwide and a brand manager at Procter & Gamble. He also writes for USA Today, previously wrote for Tribune Media Services, and is a college professor at the Farmer School of Business at Miami University.
