Paula Johnson is a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, executive director of Connors Center for Women’s Health and Gender Biology, and chief of the Women’s Health Division at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. A cardiologist, Johnson’s most recent work focuses on healthcare reform’s impact on women. She served on the Institute of Medicine Committee on Preventive Services for Women, which led to preventive services coverage for women under the Affordable Care Act. Her extensive board service includes chairing the Boston Public Health Commission. The National Library of Medicine recognized her as a woman leader in medicine.
