Peter A. Joseph

Peter A. Joseph is President of Israel Policy Forum. He served as Chair of the Executive Committee prior to this. He currently serves on the Board of Governors of Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, and Mr. Joseph is also one of the founding members, past president and current board member, of the Jewish Community Center in Manhattan. He resides in New York City.

Professionally, Peter Joseph has been in the private equity business for more than twenty years, having been the founder of two separate major New York based funds. Prior to entering the private equity business, he was an attorney specializing in corporate and securities law at Fried, Frank, Harris Shriver & Jacobson and at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan. Mr. Joseph earned his A.B. from Cornell University in 1974 and his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law in 1977.
