He was ordained from Yeshiva University, but before becoming a rabbi, he received a JD from the Cardozo School of Law and a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University. Since founding MJE 18 years ago, Rabbi Wildes has become one of America’s most inspirational and dynamic Jewish educators. He actively blogs for The Times of Israel and Huffington Post, runs a youtube channel, and has made appearances on HuffPost Live, Fox News, and PBS Channel 13. He lives with his wife Jill and their four children on the Upper West Side where they maintain a warm and welcoming home for all. As an outreach rabbi, Mark Wildes specializes in communicating with those who have less experience with Judaism, especially those in their 20s and 30s. For the last 18 years, he’s been teaching two nights a week on Jewish philosophy and Biblical values and wisdom for people in their 20s and 30s, and draws large crowds to his weekly sermons. His classes are often live streamed on facebook garnering thousands of views. He and his organization, MJE, are responsible for 279 marriages.
