Director Emeritus, Greater Miami Jewish Federation’s Community Chaplaincy Service
Rabbi Solomon Schiff was the director of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation’s Community Chaplaincy Service since 1966. He also served as the executive vice president of the Rabbinical Association of Greater Miami since 1964 -- the longest serving executive of any Board of Rabbis. He serves as the chairman of South Florida Interfaith Workers Justice and he has served the Rabbinical Association as secretary, vice president and president. He was honored for his Bar-Mitzvah year as executive vice president in 1977 and presented with life tenure. He has served as a congregational rabbi for many years. He has taught and lectured on a variety of Judaic subjects.
