Ran Libeskind-Hadas
Professor of Computer Science at Harvey Mudd College
Ran Libeskind-Hadas is the R. Michael Shanahan Professor and Chair of the Computer Science Department at Harvey College. He received the A.B. in applied mathematics from Harvard and the M.S. and Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In addition to teaching both introductory and advanced undergraduate computer science courses at Harvey Mudd, he conducts research in the area of computational biology. He serves on several national committees that are concerned with undergraduate computer science education.
