Robert P. Stoker is associate professor of political science and a member of the faculty of the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration at The George Washington University. He specializes in political science and public policy, including methods of policy analysis, program evaluation, implementation analysis and social policy. His second book, When Work is Not Enough, on low-wage work and welfare policy, was published by The Brookings Institution Press in 2006. His forthcoming book on urban distress, Governance for Urban Revitalization, is being published by Cornell University Press.
