Ross Harrison

Professor, International Affairs in the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University

Ross Harrison is Professor in the Practice of International Affairs in the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, where he teaches graduate level courses in strategy. He also teaches Middle East politics at the University of Pittsburgh. Professor Harrison has served on corporate advisory boards and has worked with an international NGO on its strategic challenges. He is a member of the “Teaching Strategy Group” with colleagues from the U.S. Army War College and National Defense University, and is a member of the “Global Futures Forum” which is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. Professor Harrison has just finished writing a book titled “Strategic Thinking in 3D: A Guide for National Security, Foreign policy and Business Professionals”, which was released by Potomac Books in May of 2013. He lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife Mahnaz.
