Russell Mickelson

Russell Mickelson serves as the CEO of STEM Academy, a non-profit dedicated to improving STEM literacy for all students. The STEM Academy's practices, strategies, and programming are built upon a foundation of identified national best practices which are designed to improve under-represented minority and low-income student growth, close achievement gaps, decrease dropout rates, increase high school graduation rates and improve teacher and principal effectiveness. Mr. Mickelson has a background in business development and consulting, focusing on education and technology. His range of work includes strategic new business models and practices, strategic business alliances and go to market strategies. In his spare time, Mr. Mickelson enjoys fly-fishing and coaching youth basketball.
