Ryan Logan is a Chicago-based filmmaker who has directed a string of award-winning short films garnering notice at festival and museums worldwide, including the Chicago International Film Festival, the Palm Springs International Shortfest, the Seattle International Film Festival, and Outfest. (His films have also been screened at venues as diverse as the Director’s Guild of America, Lincoln Center, the British Film Institute and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.) His fictional narrative work focuses a lens on the everyday struggles of the underdog that typically go unnoticed. Recent projects include the acclaimed short The Queen of My Dreams, co-directed with Fawzia Mirza, and the satirical Web series Kam Kardashian.
