Sally Friedman, a Moorestown, New Jersey resident, is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.

Her work has appeared in the New York Times, the Philadelphia Inquirer, Family Circle, Ladies Home Journal and the Chicken Soup for the Soul Series, as well as in numerous local and regional papers and magazines. She has had a regular column for over 40 years in numerous publications. Friedmans also is a frequent platform speaker on family life.

She has been awarded first place in Essay Writing for three consecutive years by the New Jersey Society of Professional Journalists. Stockton College in New Jersey presented Friedman with its Humanitarian Medal for her Holocaust writing.

She is the wife of Victor Friedman, a retired New Jersey Superior Court Judge, the mother of three adult daughters, and the grandmother of seven.
