Sarah B. Cunningham, a Rhode Island native, joined the firm of Walker-Cunningham Fine Art (then Alfred J. Walker Fine Art) in 1999. Sarah worked as manager and director of the gallery for over eight years, taking on full ownership of the gallery upon the retirement of her mentor and gallery founder, Alfred J. Walker, in 2008. Walker-Cunningham Fine Art, established in 1979, specializes in American paintings from 1850 to 1950 and exclusively represents contemporary artist Dora Atwater Millikin.
