Scott Kelliher

Chief Development Officer, Tech-Telco, AOL

With AOL since 2008, Scott Kelliher is the Chief Development Officer for the Tech-Telco client vertical. In this role, he is responsible for developing, evangelizing, and leading the implementation of AOL’s go-to-market strategy for all Telecom & Tech sector constituents, and representing all of AOL’s assets, including its owned-and-operated sites, programmatic technologies and platforms, mobile, video, production, and native formats. Prior to his role as CDO, Scott was the Eastern Region Telecom & Technology Category Sales Director, and has also led AOL’s Sales Strategy Development Team for the East and Southeastern US.

Before joining AOL, Kelliher was the Director of Mobile Media Services for Virgin Mobile, where he oversaw development and sales of different programs available to media partners across the country, including custom content integrations, on-deck WAP banner ads, and Sugar Mama, Virgin Mobile’s platform designed to allow customers to interact with advertising in exchange for free airtime. Prior to Virgin Mobile, Kelliher was the National Director of Sales for The Lodge, one of the country’s foremost providers of original music for television commercials.

A frequent speaker on panels and at industry events, Kelliher is a graduate of Bates College.
