Editor-in-chief of The Independent, Founder of the Rollins Coalition for Sustainable Investment
Scott Novak is a senior at Rollins College studying international relations and philosophy. He is also the Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief of a college magazine called The Independent. Originally from Maryland, Scott has carried out research in a variety of countries, including Morocco, Costa Rica, Switzerland, and Ghana, where he worked with a company called ThinkImpact to establish local businesses in rural communities. An avid supporter of progressive ideals, Scott is extremely passionate about protecting the interests of the general public through better corporate and financial regulations. In the past, he has interned with Joe Saunder’s Campaign for Florida House District 49, Equality Florida, and in the DC office of Congressman Alan Grayson (FL-09).
