Scott Shigeoka is a community designer and storyteller.

He's been designing and producing transformative experiences since 2009. Most of these experiences have integrated music, the arts and storytelling in some way to build trust within a community. His work is focused in Iceland and the United States.

Scott has received multiple fellowships from Fulbright, MTV and other organizations to better understand community design, movement building through music and building transformative experiences. He founded Saga, a community-powered social movement that launches festivals, residencies, leadership summits and fellowships focused on social and environmental change.

Scott has reported from Guatemala, Iceland and the United States, and has written about music and culture for MTV and The Washington Post.
