Scott W. Campbell is Pohs Professor of Telecommunications and Associate Professor of Communication Studies at the University of Michigan. His research helps explain mobile communication behaviors and consequences, especially in the contexts of texting while driving, adolescent sexting, and civic engagement. Campbell is also working on a new theoretical framework about mobile communication that integrates cognitive processing with changes in social structure.
