Shannon Boxx is a former defensive midfielder for the Chicago Red Stars in the National Women’s Soccer League and the United States women’s national soccer team. She is a three-time Olympic gold medalist and has placed third or better in four FIFA Women’s World Cups. Shannon retired from soccer in 2015, and currently lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband and two young children.
