Shelley Bird

I'm a builder of teams, commercial models, organizations and brands with a passion for leading complex projects and ventures at critical pivot points.

Dr. Shelley Bird is a senior executive with global marketing, strategy, business transformation, crisis communication and policy experience, and over 25 years of experience at leading companies, including Cardinal Health, Motorola, NCR, and Royal Philips Electronics. She has helped companies navigate disruptive change, launch new ventures, and retool existing models. With more than a decade of living and working in Asia and Europe for U.S. and European multinationals, she has guided organizations through acquisitions and divestitures, geographic expansion, product introductions, material disclosures, and leadership and culture transitions. She is the founder of the Bindu Project, a social enterprise accelerator that supports charitable startups, and is co-chair of X Squared Angels, an angel investing group that invests in women-led early-stage companies. Ms. Bird has a Doctorate in Communication and a Master of Arts degree in Communication Management from the University of South Australia in Adelaide.
