Sports announcer; Former announcer for the San Francisco Giants
Sherry Davis announced for the San Francisco Giants from 1993 to 1999. She was born and raised in Virginia, and has called the San Francisco Bay area home since 1975. She was the first ever woman to announce any major league sport in the United States, and her picture hangs in the Baseball Hall of Fame. She continues to announce for Division 1 women's college basketball to this day, and is still an avid baseball fan.
