Born and raised in Honolulu, HI, Simmy is now a Washington, D.C. transplant. Along the way, Simmy received 2 Bachelor of Science degrees at the University of San Francisco in Finance and Marketing. Currently Simmy works for American Rivers, a conservation non-profit, and tabula rasa, an event venue.
In her spare time, Simmy is a sustainer for the Women's Information Network, on the Young Professionals Board for Break the Cycle, and a volunteer for Girl Scouts & RAINN.
Simmy also enjoys traveling, coffee, cooking, reading, discovering new places in the city she loves, meeting new people and yoga.
