Dr. Skye Cooley is an assistant professor in the Department of Communication at Mississippi State University. He holds undergraduate degrees in International Relations and International Studies, has a Masters in Mass Communication degree, and earned his doctorate in Mass Communication at the University of Alabama. Dr. Cooley holds certifications of accreditation in public relations (APR) and civilian service peace keeping operations (POTI). He has traveled actively through Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa; publishing and presenting research on international political communication. Dr. Cooley also works with the Pentagon-based Strategic Multi-Layered Assessment group conducting open source intelligence research using the M3S platform at Texas A&M University.
