Stephanie Laing

Stephanie Laing has been producing comedy for over 15 years. She launched her career with funny woman Tracey Ullman on her popular sketch comedy show Tracey Takes On... Next came the HBO series Little Britain, followed by the critically-acclaimed series, Eastbound and Down, starring Danny McBride with Executive Producers Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, Jody Hill and McBride. Stephanie was named Executive Producer for the 4th season. Veep followed starring Julia Louis Dreyfus, and Laing expanded her repertoire operating as the 2nd unit director for the show.

With 7 Emmy nominations, including 1 win, under her belt, Laing recently produced and directed her first film short, an adaptation of Patrick Somerville’s short story Trouble & the Shadowy Deathblow, starring Emmy Award winning actor Tony Hale. She contributes regularly to the online platform Refinery29.com, the newly revamped Yahoo! Travel and her own blog, Put Your Pretty On.
