Ron Hartenbaum, president of WYD Media which produces the Stephanie Miller Show, noted: “We are funded and supported in part by our listeners and viewers. Stephanie Miller’s sold-out Sexy Liberal Comedy Tour was the fastest-selling comedy tour in history during its two year barnstorming tour across America. The tour gross from April 2011 to April 2013 was $2,200,000 (taking in well over $1,000,000 in just six months). The Sexy Liberal Comedy Tour played to roughly 80,000 people (with ticket prices ranging from $25-$175 in major venues), and broke box office house records in Boston’s Wilbur Theater; San Francisco’s Orpheum; the Pantages in Los Angeles; and three sold-out shows in the legendary Chicago Theater and one in New York’s iconic Beacon Theater, as well as large venues in Washington, DC; Detroit; Philadelphia, Buffalo; Portland; Tucson; Madison; Austin; Santa Fe; Albuquerque; and Seattle (where it broke the attendance record for a non-musical or musical event and was the highest-grossing event ever in that theater). Dates were put on sale two weeks prior to the show and sold out within four days (usually, shows are put on sale months prior). Even more impressive, the tour also sold out in markets where her radio show did not have a local affiliate, such as New York, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Boston, Austin, and Ft. Lauderdale. The Ft. Lauderdale sales are particularly illustrative of Stephanie’s amazing strength in the marketplace. Tickets went on sale on a Friday in August and within just four days, the show was 90% sold out, four months prior to the December performances.

Due to large demand, the tour repeated some 2011 markets in 2012 and 2013. Repeat shows usually do 10-15% less than the original show. The Sexy Liberal Comedy Tour showed significantly larger grosses in almost every repeat market, (ranging from 20-35% growth. This convincingly demonstrates that the Stephanie Miller brand is steadily growing stronger across the country.

“Stephanie Miller’s Sexy Liberal Comedy Tour,” the live recording of the show, became the first album to reach #1 on the comedy charts for iTunes, Amazon.com, and Billboard. On the day of its release, it was the #2 most downloaded album on Amazon and remained on the Billboard Comedy Album charts for 6 weeks.

The tour was nominated for three of the live performance industry’s prestigious Pollstar awards, including Best Tour (along with Taylor Swift and winner Lady Gaga), Best New Tour (along with winner Adele) and Best Lead Comedy Performer for Stephanie (along with Lewis Black and winner Jeff Dunham).

As the daughter of Congressman William Miller, Barry Goldwater’s 1964 Republican presidential running mate, Stephanie Miller comes to the left, from the right. A guest on TV programs hosted by everyone from Bill Maher to Sean Hannity to Jay Leno, Stephanie Miller is that special breed of liberal that even conservatives love because she’s real... and wickedly funny.

Additionally, Stephanie Miller now has an additional large and loyal audience with the upscale and economically influential LGBT consumer market. Having “come out” on the air three years ago, she has received extraordinarily positive support from the gay and lesbian community, including a cover story in the national Lesbian News Magazine and coverage in The Advocate, where she appeared on their powerful “Out 100” list in the December, 2013 issue; Out Magazine.
