Susan is the Deputy Director for Public Citizen’s Congress Watch division where she helps coordinate all aspects of the division’s advocacy across multiple issue campaigns-- specializing in financial reform, international tax issues, and open government initiatives. Before coming to Public Citizen, Susan was the policy director for the Michigan chapter of a large grassroots environmental organization where she oversaw the organization’s policy advocacy in the state. In her previous role, Susan served as a member of Michigan's legislatively-appointed Wetlands Advisory Council and was a member of the Michigan Climate Action Council's Cross Cutting Issues Technical Working Group. She was also the alternate representative for the environmental community on the Wind Energy Resource Zone Board. Susan received her Bachelors of Arts degree from Michigan State University (MSU) and received her Juris Doctor, cum laude in Public Law & Regulation from MSU's College of Law. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan.
