Susan Yager is an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Nutrition, Food Studies and Public Health at New York University, and has written for a variety of publications on topics of food, sustainability, and sexual health. She has a Master’s degree in Food Studies from New York University. She lives in New York City and the East End of Long Island with her husband, Bob Berkowitz, and two cats. Her new book The Hundred Year Diet. America’s Voracious Appetite For Weight Loss, (Rodale, 2010) explores how we managed to become both a nation of chronic dieters and just about the fattest country on earth.
