Tanja Aitamurto

Tanja Aitamurto is a journalist and a Ph.D. student exploring collective intelligence: crowdfunding, crowdsourcing, and open innovation. Currently she is working as a visiting researcher at the Center for Design Research at Stanford. More about her here: tanjaaitamurto.com

As a journalist Tanja specializes in technology. She has done reporting widely around the world in places such as Afghanistan and in several countries in Africa. Prior to moving to Silicon Valley, she has taught journalism in Zambia and worked as a reporter for the Namibian Press Agency in Namibia. Tanja's native country is Finland.
