Career Diplomat and Social Worker, Monmouth University graduate
A 1962 graduate of Monmouth University, Thomas Gallagher, a career diplomat and social worker, served in the U.S. Foreign Service beginning in 1965 in countries such as Saudi Arabia, Nigeria and Ecuador. Gallagher’s work to combat AIDS includes raising over $4 million for the Spanish AIDS Foundation, and now in retirement, he continues to work on an occasional basis for the State Department and also sings with the New York City Gay Mens’ Chorus.
