Writer, translator, former Berlin club DJ
Tim Mohr is an award winning translator of German novels, including The Hottest Dishes of the Tartar Cuisine, by Alina Bronsky, and the international best seller Wetlands, by Charlotte Roche. He spent several years as a staff editor at Playboy magazine, where he worked with such writers as Hunter S. Thompson, Matt Taibbi, John Dean, and Harvey Pekar. His final project with Thompson anchors Da Capo's book Ancient Gonzo Wisdom. His writing has appeared in the New York Times and New York Times Book Review, the Daily Beast, New York magazine, the eXile, and other publications. He collaborated with Duff McKagan on It's So Easy (and other lies), McKagan's memoir. Prior to starting his writing career, he earned his living as a club DJ in Berlin.
