Tiphany Adams

Appears on 'Push Girls'

Tiphany Adams, 29, was born in Manteca, California and raised in the Lodi/Stockton area of Northern California. She was a rebellious high school senior with dreams of modeling when she and two friends were hit by a drunk driver in a 130 mph head-on collision on October 15, 2000.

All were pronounced dead at the scene, until the EMTs heard a faint sound from Tiphany. She was pried from the wreck and airlifted to the nearest hospital, where her family was told she had a 5% chance of survival.

Tiphany was in a coma for three weeks and spent several torturous months in the hospital. In February 2001, she returned to high school and graduated with her class that June. She has a natural affinity and fondness for children and became a preschool teacher as well as a fitness instructor. In 2008, she moved from Northern California to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams of modeling and acting.

She has spoken at high schools and universities about spinal cord injuries and the consequences of driving while intoxicated. She attends charity dinners and galas for those with spinal cord injuries. She sometimes attends UCLA Adaptive Recreation events, participating in kayaking and other sporting activities. She is focused on becoming a fitness model and is designing a clothing line called “Wheely Famous.” Tiphany is Angela’s new roommate. She is sponsored by Colours Wheelchairs.
