Tom graduated from Texas A&M with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering in 1966, then later earned an M.S. in Chemical Engineering in 1970 at N.C. State University. The first twenty-six years of his career was devoted to engineering, project management and executive responsibilities, mostly with ABB Randall; in 1997 he left that company as VP Business Development to start a business now called Heart Matters, Inc. … which is committed to linking the leader’s beliefs, passions and values … their heart, if you will … to inspire employee commitment to key strategic outcomes.

His new book PEERLESS: Defy Convention. Lead From The Heart. Watch What Happens profiles ten great leaders who are building just the kind of organizations Tom is talking about.
