Vijay Prashad is the author of sixteen books, most recently The Poorer Nations: A Possible History of the Global South (paperback from Verso, 2014). He writes a regular column for Frontline magazine (India) called Letter From Beirut and is a regular contributor to The Hindu, Himal South Asia and Counterpunch. He is the Edward Said Chair at the AUB (Beirut) and the Professor of International Studies at Trinity College (Hartford).
