Wendy Kidd

Wendy Kidd is no stranger to the entertainment industry- she played drums in the all girl Led Zeppelin 'Lez Zeppelin'. She has also shared the stage with Earl Slick from David Bowie's band, The New York Dolls, and The Band. With all of the connections that she has made in the past 20 years in the LGBT music scene, she was absolutely thrilled when gay marriage in new York became legal - not just because she herself is part of the community but also because all of the bands that she had played with had been very vocal about social injustice and the struggles of the LGBT community.

She decided that with her connections she wanted to offer an eclectic mix of entertainment for weddings -- both gay and straight. She pulled well -known queer bands out of her Rolodex like Betty (L Word), Antigone Rising, as well as other performers ranging from The Dap Kings and even drag queens.

Her mission is to provide couples with an unforgettable wedding reception experience.
