Whitney Greer has over ten years of experience as a journalist and editor, five of these focused in medicine and healthy lifestyle. Her background includes television, radio and magazine reporting, and she has been a contributor for multiple publications and media outlets, including Essence, MTV, NBC and BET, to name just a few.

Whitney truly believes that better health is the key to an outstanding life. As the executive editor of BlackDoctor.org, it is Whitney’s passionate goal to help African Americans avoid all the preventable health conditions that exist today by delivering culturally-accurate health information.

"From diabetes to HIV/AIDS, colon cancer to asthma, if people have the right information, they’ll be in a position to make more educated health decisions."

Whitney earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, with a primary focus in Biology, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
