Younes Zangiabadi

Younes Zangiabadi is a master student of International affairs at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. He is an elected board member of the largest Iranian-Canadian organization, called Iranian Canadian Congress (ICC), which its mandate is to protect and advance the interest of Iranian community in Canada. Younes worked for the United Nations Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) where he was involved in various joint UN-Government projects mainly about Emergency Response Preparedness, Disaster Management, and Passive Defense in Iran. He produced a short documentary called "Iranians Non-Grata" that uncovers the personal stories of prominent Iranian students who have been affected by the President Trump's Executive Order known as the Muslim Ban or the Travel Ban. Younes is passionate about Iran's domestic and foreign affairs and he occasionally writes about different subjects regarding Iran from a young Iranian perspective.
