Stressed about the holidays?

Well, here is yet one more or shall I say multiple issues to be concerned about.

Alarming study results published in the Journal of Urban Health and conducted by researchers at Boston University's School of Public Health found that 1 in 13 teen girls reported having engaged in "multiple person sex." They also reported that group sex was often initiated by pornography watching boyfriends.

The girls were on the average between 15 and 16 years old. To add insult to injury, nearly 50% stated that their partner(s) did not use condoms.

One study does NOT necessarily indicate that we have an emerging trend. Nonetheless, it does raise concerns about the relationship between teen sex trends and pornography. This begs the question of how visual images are influencing teens' ideas of sex. Clearly, this is both an parent issue and a public health issue.
