Think of African safaris and the image you dream up will invariably be that of Kenya. A small country, it packs lots in, rolling grasslands dense with game, remote desert, mighty snow-capped mountains, exotic archipelagos and a bustling vibrant culture. It is justly one of the most popular safari destinations in the world, not just because of world famous parks such as Masai Mara and Amboseli, but also because it isn't just the preserve of the super rich staying in luxury lodges. And whilst only the most dedicated wildlife watchers will want to spend weeks on game drives, there is plenty else to do from climbing Mount Kenya to chilling on a beach in Lamu. Jambo, welcome to Kenya!
