Etsy, Yelp, and the Craft and Folk Art Museum present a second Etsy Craft Night in Los Angeles. The museum courtyard will transform into an outdoor creative hub where visitors can make 3-D greeting card boxes straight out of Mark Montano's Pulp Fiction Perfect Paper Projects. Party Animals and FriendsWithYou Pop-Up Shop

Royal/T brings the magical world of animals and art to life with Party Animals, a group exhibition curated by electronic media artist Lindsay Scoggins. Featured works include an eclectic mix of beastly beings depicted as party-goers and captivating creatures as formidable adversaries, with works by Scoggins, Takashi Murakami, Jeff Koons, KAWS, and Yoshitomo Nara, among many others. The FriendsWithYou pop-up shop will allow visitors to immerse themselves in a world of luck, friendship, and magic in a site-specific retail installation, on view for a limited time only. George Herms: Xenophilia, Love of the Unknown

The opening day of an exhibition featuring the work of assemblage artist George Herms, a central figure in the development of the so-called West Coast aesthetic. A member of the beat generation, Herms' commitment to counterculture is expressed through his use of impoverished materials and his rejection of compositional devices in favor of loose associations of materials and ideas. Herms' work will be exhibited alongside the work of younger Los Angeles and New York artists, bringing new energy to the assemblage tradition. Artists include: Rita Ackermann, Kathryn Andrews, Lizzi Bougatsos, Robert Branaman, Dan Colen, Leo Fitzpatrick, Elliott Hundley, Hanna Liden, Nate Lowman, Ari Marcopoulos, Ryan McGinley, Melodie Mousset, Jack Pierson, Amanda Ross-Ho, Sterling Ruby, Agathe Snow, Ryan Trecartin, Kaari Upson, and Aaron Young.
