Just a quick note to say that Thomas Cook from Blue Indiana and I will be liveblogging Indiana's Jefferson-Jackson Day dinner tonight for Bilerico Project, Blue Indiana and Huffington Post. The event starts at 6:15 Eastern so you'll want to grab a seat around 6pm. We'll also be shooting video of the speakers so look for those to show up over the weekend.

As a note, I'll also be attending the Democratic State Central Committee meeting to report on Rep Brad Ellsworth's ascension to be the candidate to replace retiring Senator Evan Bayh.

Of course, I tried to get the Ellsworth campaign to speak with me before the event, but they declined. While the campaign and the party have complained about my posts questioning LGBT and progressive support for Ellsworth, they have yet to answer any questions or allow me to speak directly to the candidate.

Featured speakers at this year's event include:

  • Congressman Andre Carson
  • Congressman Joe Donnelly
  • Speaker B. Patrick Bauer
  • Senator Amy Klobuchar - Keynote Speaker
  • Congressman Baron Hill
  • Congressman Brad Ellsworth
  • Senator Evan Bayh
