One more word about President Clinton's magnificent interview on Fox News Sunday.

Not only did our president tell the truth about the war on terror -

Namely, that he, Bill Clinton, did everything he could to hunt down bin Laden - while George Bush has done nothing -

By his interview, Clinton taught Democrats an important lesson.

Most of the time, Democrats are too nice.

They want to be friends.

Somebody slaps them on the cheek, they follow the Gospel - and offer them the other cheek.

Well, I'm sorry, but this isn't religion, this is politics. And there's a big difference.

Clinton showed the way.

In politics, if somebody slaps you on the cheek, you punch him in the nose. Then you punch him in the gut. Then you kick him in the groin. Then you crack a chair over his head. Then, just to make sure, you jump up and down on top of him with both feet.

In other words, when Republicans get mean and nasty and accuse you of being soft on terror, the only way to win - is to fight back. Hard and tough.

If Democrats follow that advice, they'll win every time.

If they don't, they don't deserve to win.
