We're at an unprecedented moment in the history of rejection. On one hand, there's the dismal economy which makes jobs and mortgages and platinum-card upgrades harder than ever to come by. On the other, email and texting makes dashing off a rejection letter easier than ever. So what should you do with all the rejection letters you get? Save them! Over the last few years, I've been collecting other people's rejection letters (more than 700, in fact) for my new book, and every person who lent me a letter was glad they'd held on to it.
