After traveling a few (thousand) miles, we've come to grips with the fact that the best art galleries can be the hardest to find. Artistic types will be artistic types, which means museums buried in islands and hills and galleries that look like the Starship Enterprise.

Leave behind the stodginess of the Prado, the Louvre and the Met and begin an international treasure hunt for the world's finest art.
