The fashion designer Yigal Azrouel has an advantage over many other designers. His designs are the clothes that models like to wear when they are off the runway. Stylish, modern and above all, the very definition of cool. The kinds of clothes that drive street style photographers crazy. He's also got quite a celebrity following with the likes of Natalie Portman and Charlize Theron having worn his designs.

As he prepares his collections (women, men and Cut 25, a contemporary label) Yigal takes a break to talk about destiny and success, finding the right fit, and eating chocolates.

When I wake up... I go for a run on the West Side Highway.

Before I go to bed... I like to relax and do a little reading on my iPad.

A well-dressed man/woman... never looks like they're trying too hard.

Women should always... be confident and not worry about what other people think.

Men should never... stop searching for the perfect fit of his clothing.

The best thing that's been said about me... is that I'm not an egoist.

The biggest misconception about me... is that I eat too much chocolate.

If I weren't doing what I'm doing today... I would be a professional surfer.

The soundtrack of my life... is always changing.

The future... is a conversation between luck and destiny.

Happiness... is the key to success.

There's a time and place for... fun and work.

There is too much... noise.

In the end... we will never know.
