Congressman Kucinich was absolutely correct on both counts: the UFO thing and the president's mental stability thing. Here's why. The UFO which Kucinich claims to have seen was, in fact, President Bush successfully landing his crazy jet on the flight deck of the USS Batshit. Your president at the Heritage Foundation Thursday:
"History teaches that underestimating the words of evil, ambitious men is a terrible mistake. [...]
In the 1920s, the world ignored the words of Hitler, as he explained his intention to build an Aryan super-state in Germany, take revenge on Europe, and eradicate the Jews -- and the world paid a terrible price. His Nazi regime killed millions in the gas chambers, and set the world aflame in war, before it was finally defeated at a terrible cost in lives and treasure. [...]
Bin Laden and his terrorist allies have made their intentions as clear as Lenin and Hitler before them. And the question is: Will we listen?"
These were just a few choice remarks pulled from a mostly horrible speech by the president in which he scolded the Democrats for being terrorist appeasers, simply because they're not giving him everything he wants. I don't even know where to begin to evaluate the insanity, but I had to review the video in order to make sure he didn't end the speech by mounting Bancini's shoulders and challenging Charlie Cheswick to a pick-up game of black jack in the tub room.
Let's start with bin Laden and work up to the Nazi part.
President Bush has clearly forgotten that it wasn't the Democrats who failed to capture Osama bin Laden. The sole responsibility for the failure to capture bin Laden, in fact, rests directly on the slumped little-man shoulders of George W. Bush, the 43rd President of the United States, due to his well-documented incompetence, hubris and myopia. He also went so far as to inexplicably shut down the CIA's bin Laden unit. This has nothing to do with the Democrats. It was The Decider who decided to allow bin Laden to escape and to go on to bigger and better things, like an Evildoer Disney in northern Pakistan.
This demands restating.
The only reason bin Laden is any sort of threat here and now -- a full six years after September 11-- is strictly and in no uncertain terms the fault of George W. Bush.
The Democrats had nothing to do with this historically massive blunder. It wasn't the Democrats who looked you and me in the eye and declared bin Laden "wanted dead or alive," only to, a few months later, publicly confess to not spending much time on him.
Yet the president is shamelessly projecting his unforgivable failures onto Congress during this, his third public hissy in less than a week.
Not all of us, as George Carlin sublimely described to Keith Olbermann, have been bought off with toys and gadgets. We haven't forgotten that Congress, including the Democrats, made "the terrible mistake" of giving the president everything he asked for, over and above the bounds of reason and constitutionality. Everything. Through the first half of this decade, they allowed him to get away with the no-bid contracts, the Patriot Act, the illegal preemptive invasion of Iraq, the outsourcing of the military, the wiretapping and all of the flagrantly unconstitutional shit which has defined his presidency.
And he still failed to get the bad guy.
With a record of acquiescence as precedent, the Democrats appear to be turning a corner and are attempting to ignore his pedomorphic attempts at intimidation. Slowly but surely. So how does the president react? He spazzes out and blames the Democrats for the on-going bin Laden threat.
Additionally, in finally resisting the president, the Democrats are also accused of being appeasers -- similar to men who conducted business with Nazi Germany. Men including, say, I don't know, Prescott Bush for example.
This isn't a new tactic for this regime. I think Rumsfeld was the first to offer up this Nazi appeaser argument. Crazy ass Rumsfeld! The president should know better than to go around repeating all the backwards shit he overhears Rumsfeld saying.
Because now our Chief Executive has shrunken so small and beneath contempt as to blame the Democratic Party for potentially allowing an all new Holocaust -- in the same way the appeasers allowed Hitler to run amok and murder 6 million Jews. Now the (straw man Democratic) appeasers want to let the evildoers run free, and... what then, hmm? Hitler is to Holocaust, as bin Laden is to... what? Hint: another Holocaust-like genocide and the Democrats will surely be to blame.
In the president's withered, oxygen-deprived skull, anyone who disagrees with this analogy is, as he said today, "being disingenuous or naive." Not the neocons who repeat such nonsense. The Democrats.
That's right. The Democrats.
By not giving the president everything he wants, these unhinged so-accused appeasers, in addition to allowing bin Laden to remain a threat, could now be shoving the world down a familiar slippery slope toward horrors not unlike "gas chambers" and racial "eradication," and only George W. Bush's illegal wiretaps and torturing and failed wars can stop this from happening. You know, because his ideas have always been so awesome. Naturally, then, the Democrats had better let him have Mukasey and waterboarding. They'd better let him bomb Iran. They'd better let him continue to fund mercenary shadow armies. Because if they don't... Boom! New Holocaust!
This could very well be the most outrageous thing the president has ever said, and that includes "major combat operations have ended" and his recent World War III remark. Bloggers and talk radio hosts can get away with uttering such categorically demented horseshit, but this is the President of the United States for God's sake. This speech was miles below the high ground dignity we expect from the holder of our most cherished public office.
As such, and in this order, there ought to be a motion to censure the president brought to the floor of both chambers, and, following the censure vote, the president should publicly apologize to Congress and the American people for these statements. Seriously. He should then apologize to the survivors of the Holocaust for reducing their horrifying struggle to the level of a hackish political stunt.
Contact your senators and congressman right now and get this thing moving. Congress seems to be demanding apologies from everyone who says something offensive these days, so, by God, the president should apologize, too.
Meanwhile, per the 25th Amendment, the president needs to resign from office due to being mentally incapacitated. I know that won't happen, but it's worth suggesting anyway.

Ron. I can help you a little bit, as I just forgot the While House Correspondent's name Poppy Bush said it to in an interview. She died in 1992, so it was before that. He told her if the American people knew what his family had done to the country, we'd hang them. Damn, I can't think of her name, but she was as famous as Helen Thomas.
Bush really can't see in the mirror, can he.
He's the Hitler, demanding "regime change" in country's which haven't done squat to the USA.
The Democrats are appeasers, alright, continuing to fund his foreign misadventures.
We have GOT to convince congress to impeach this madman.
Why is that so wrong? Dems have been comparing Bush to Hitler for six years. Turnabout, fair play and all that.
During the "runup to the war" (WWII), America was a bastion of conservative empathy for "leaders' such as Adolph Hitler. Henry Ford, Adolph Coors, the Bush family... all sympathetic to how Hitler approached his "middlin" class... consisting of Jews, gays, people of color and any other self-declared ethnically or morally deficient non-Aryan group or population. He murdered them.
The Los Angeles Forum filled to capacity, Americans applauding the hate speech of Father Coughlin, the "Radio Priest" who spewed about "the moneychangers" and other "undesirables" and expressed sympathy for Germany 's "moral struggle" to contain the Jews and anyone else who presented a threat to "order and decency".
Conservative America watched eastern and western Europe fall, and sat in the background while England endured "The Blitz" from shelters as London burned nightly, cognizant of their their prior support of an obvious tyrant dictator.
Absent Hitler's blunder of attacking his Soviet allies, he may well have developed the bomb... with help from western capitalists who supported his rise.
It sure wasn't pacifist, cowardly "dove" liberals who were fans of Hilter in America. Many of the prior posts have definitively lifted the shade from this absurd American myth.
Conservative America admired Hitler... and in typical fashion have painted history in the biblical good vs evil (after changing sides), rather than acknowledging the long standing perpetuation of American race, class and religious divide which has been, and is, the foundation of American Conservatism.

I agree that Bush not capturing Bin Laden is shameful! It should have been Bush's priority...but...let's be fair about the war in Iraq. It wasn't just Bush's idea. Look at these quotes from democrats:
"the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real..."
- Sen. John F. Kerry, Jan. 23. 2003
"We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country."
- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002
"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction."
- Sen. Ted Kennedy, Sept. 27, 2002
"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process."
- Rep. Nancy Pelosi, Dec. 16, 1998
All of these people have explaining to do. However, the people quoted above seem to get a pass.
Even to the most rabid supporters of the surrender movement it has to be obvious that the Democrats have acted like weak, whining, hand wringing, cowards, and quiters who have abandoned their liberal humanitarianism for short term partisan political gain. Because of this the 08 election will mark the beginning of the end of the Democratic Party.
First of all this is not even a war Bob. All to easy to call it one to get lots of all your own way. Did UK call it a war on terrorism for 30 years with the IRA? Would that have justified invasion and oppression of Eire who might have harbored terrorists or aided them? You cannot have a War on Terrorism as there has always been one terrorist or another wanting to plant or explode bombs for supposed causes. How do you win a war on terrorism, by killing all who despise you? How many MORE despise us now than did on 9/11. We can't kill them all and they multiply with every forceful sledgehammer we crack their nuts with. There was no way a British bred Pakistani was going to strap on a bomb before Abu Ghraib and Gitmo and killing Osama would have no effect on that hatred whatsoever. We have to be fairer than ever before over Palestine and slow down the hatred and hope it diminishes like it did for the UK after 9/11. No more IRA collections in New York and no more romantic notions of terrorism anymore. Win the peace America because this is one fight that brute force and ignorance will never win. Occupied nations will always revolt and if occupied Brits and Yanks would be the MOST revolting?
George W Bush's Grandfather, Prescott Bush had a father in law named Walker. This walker was an investment banker at Brown Brothers (Avrille) Harriman investment bank. This investment bank loaned millions of dollars during the early 1930's to German industrialist Fritz Thyssen. Thyssen was the early supporter of Adolph Hitler. Without his massive investments in German steel and industry the Third Reich would have just been a bunch of loons without an army. Walker's stock was frozen six month after the start of WW2. He received the stock back in 1948 and sold it for 1.5 million, about 15 million in today's money. Thus, George W Bush's great grandfather was an early supporter in the Third Reich. Bush should talk about Hitler and the Nazi's a lot, they were family friends.
Now that we know that B/C's partner in crime, Musharef, has declared martial law, suspended their constitution, closed down any and all independent communications (newspapers, TV and radio stations, etc. ) who still believes that B/C won't do this next year?
Why aren't the lunatic fringe on the right concerned about Musharef selling weapons and secrets to the highest bidders, since they know that they can't continue to receive public support (B/C is definitely pulling for them to pull this off, to see how well it will work here in what used to be America) from their criminal friends in Washington? TZR
The irony of George Bush lecturing anybody on applying the lessons of history, is, just --- breathtaking. As the author of a foolishly conceived, incompetently executed adventure in nation building Bush should stick to what he knows best, but, I forget what that is.

It's all my fault, this World War III thing. Bush was speaking to me, an unhinged appeaser crazy not to see that it is liberty we are fighting for by drowning people -- even our own -- if they don't support the President, oh, and the troops, oops. He's right, we must strike terror into those who hate peace and freedom before they try and defend themselves. It must be something in the drinking water that made me lose my senses. Evidently, my enormous influence on the Democrats has got to stop. No longer will I blog and I've taken Moveon.org off my toolbar. Mea Culpa.
Oh that is SILLY!

The Neo-Cons are after Tungsten, Titanium, Uranium, Copper, and Gold and bunches of things. The Republicans in Congress are putting these commodities and things on their lists of,,,,, Strategic Interests.
