I live in Harris County in TX. Our state sales tax in this county is currently 8.25%. Add another federal sales tax of 9%, and I would be paying 17.25% sales tax. At that rate, your average "99% person" like myself wouldn't be able to buy ANYTHING. No thanks, Herman. I'm sure a big shot pizza ceo like yourself can well afford your 9-9-9 tax structure, but the other 99% of us can't afford you and your screwy ideas, and we shouldn't have to.

Imagine what a 9% sales tax would do to home sales.

Bob and Chez win the Internet!

(and say "hi" to Elvis for me too)

While I do miss Elvis, I have to say that Chez is a very worth successor. I love hearing his take on things.

"Hero Worship of Saint Reagan".

That's rich, and ironic. Bob Cesca's hero worship of Obama makes the Reagan zealots look tame.

Except that the tax-cutting crazies on the right don't even know that Reagan only cut taxes once---but raised them 11 times. Talk about your selective memory....

Does Tip O'Neil reneging on tax cuts jog your selective memory?

No no no...I wouldn't go ANYWHERE near that far.

There is NO comparison between even the most well-meaning Obama supporter (which is what I consider Bob) and a Reagan-worshiping zealot on the right.

Congrats on the new venue! I've been listening for a long time now. Say hi to Elvis for us.
