Call for Cyberspace Aid Convoy for Gaza

Juan Cole, the highly respected blogger, has published an excellent overview of the humanitarian crisis that the Israeli military left in its wake in Gaza. As usual, his blog is so thorough and thoughtful that there is little to add. He also issued a "Call for Cyberspace Aid Convoy," asking other bloggers to donate to UNICEF ("among the best aid groups for this purpose") and to ask their readers to do the same.

This is one bandwagon I am happy to jump on.

If you get a chance, stop by his Informed Comment blog and read his harrowing description of the situation in Gaza. But more importantly, give some money to UNICEF's Humanitarian Response in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
