Joe Dressner, a top wine importer, and one of the leading voices for non-manipulated or "un-spoofulated" wines, has recently passed away from brain cancer at the age of 60. His Louis/Dressner portfolio of wines (He was a partner with his wife,Denyse Louis, and Kevin McKenna) is one of the most respected in the industry. He was equally appreciated for his self-deprecating wit, and keen sense to look straight on at the workings of the industry with insight and humor.

Below is a link to one of his blogs, titled An Exciting Expose of the Three Tier Schnook System that he wrote in April of 2001.

For any of us who have played a role in the "Schnook System", no one could have described it better. R.I.P. Mr. Dressner.
